Our state-of-the-art facility boasts cutting-edge equipment and a staff of fantastic specialists (considered by many to be experts in the fields of dental implant placement and restoration) are committed to providing patients with the most advanced teeth replacement techniques that exist in the world, such as the revolutionary All-on-4®.
Who is the Ideal Dental Implant Candidate?
The ideal patient for dental implants has lost, or is about to lose, a tooth or many teeth (or even all of their teeth) and who is essentially in good general and oral health. Having said that, our experienced team regularly sees more complex cases involving severe bone loss, such as from advanced periodontal (gum) disease. Our specialists can typically still provide these patients with the beautiful, healthy looking smiles they came to us for! And in most cases, we can do this in just one day!
Am I Too Old for Implants?
Age is typically not a factor when we assess a patient for single or multiple dental implants. As long as you are in good general health, there’s no reason you can’t receive a beautiful new smile. Every day, people of all ages, from teenagers to 90-year-olds and every age in between, walk into MALO SMILES® with the hope of having their smiles restored. With the right expertise and technology and under carefully monitored conditions, we are able to treat even the most complex of teeth replacement cases.
So, if you’ve been told you that you are not a candidate for dental implants because of your age or jawbone health, we encourage you to contact MALO SMILES® for a free second opinion. He or she may be right in their assessment of your case, but we have the state-of-the-art facility, staff and technology necessary to overcome many perceived obstacles. In addition, we are happy to work alongside your existing dentist to help get you the smile you deserve.
I’ve Been Told I Don’t Have Enough Bone in my Jaw to Get Dental Implants
Jawbone health and volume are very important considerations when providing patients with a new smile supported with dental implants. This is because dental implants function similarly to natural tooth roots in that they require adequate bone support in order to remain stable and healthy. If you have been diagnosed with an oral disease that has deteriorated the health of your jawbone and/or you have lost a lot of bone volume, MALO SMILES® is equipped with a team of professionals that can likely help!
We regularly treat patients with advanced gum disease and those that have also suffered from atrophy (shrinkage) of the jawbone. In most cases, these are not considered prohibitive problems. Your journey to oral rehabilitation may take slightly longer as we fight infection and repair the damage done, but you will be so much better for it after treatment.
Everyone is a Possible Candidate for Dental Implants
Remember, anyone who has lost one or more or even all of their adult teeth at any stage in their life is a possible candidate for dental implants. While some patients may require more careful consideration, assessment and treatment than others, our specialists will guide you safely through your individual journey to a more beautiful, confident smile and better oral health.
